BACKGROUND

Shereen assists with legal research, supporting other solicitors on files and other administrative matters within the firm. Shereen has experience in a range of construction, insurance, and environmental law matters including: 

• Advising residential and commercial contractors on a range of matters including dispute resolution of claims involving breach of contract and negligence. 
• Advising residential and commercial contractors on payment disputes, delays, contract variations, workmanship issues and a diverse range of design and construction issues. 
• Advising a large building association on recent case law developments. 
• Contract drafting and reviewing. 
• Assisting Rachel Conner with resource management law matters. 
• Assisting Scott Galloway in his role as the Lloyd’s General Representative in New Zealand. 
• Completing a secondment at Lloyd’s Australia for 6 months, including involvement with internal and external policy review, customer standards oversight and regulatory and compliance matters. 
• Conducting internal dispute resolution within Lloyd’s Australia through dealing with complaints, reviewing of insurance claims, and advising on contact with external dispute resolution providers.
